finishing help needed
Hello all, and thanks in advance for any help.
I would like to try some new techniques for finishing the but of a pool cue.
in the US they finish them with a type of clear coat spray paint. however we dont have the dust free setup to do something like that.
what i would like to do is polish them with something, im not worried how labour intensive it may be, however the butt is where the cue is held, so it needs to be able to stay polished through continued wear.
thanks heaps for any help you could offer.
regards
steve
ps. im a web developer, so id be happy to help the site owner with anything, you guys have been helpful so far. the menu on the left opens up each click in a new window, i could fix that for starters )

I have heard of pen turners dipping their pens, finish looks pretty impressive once you work out the technique, might be something also suitable for billiard cues...
