i am replaceing ceiling plasterboard in a few rooms, i was thinking while there is no ceiling up at the moment would there be any benefit in screwing say 12m plywood on top of the ceiling joists which might act as insulation or stop any water drips penetetrating ceiling from tiled roof which has no sarking. also is there some sort of retrofit sarking you can put in from the bottom side of tiles without taking whole roof tiles off.
