Ceiling joists attachment
I am looking at enclosing my garage into a room and need to span for a ceiling. The length is 3400mm and I can support it in the middle to the bearer that is there.
I believe 90x45 is ample F5 continuos span, 2100 in the standards. How do I attach it to the bearer in the centre?skew nail or triple grip? screw?
