    When I lived in Phoenix, Arizona there was a type of tree that was trimmed (If you want to call it that.) way back during late Autumn. Then they would paint the remaining part of the tree white to prevent sun burn. (That's all I know. My total gardening skills are only to write the cheque for the synthetic turf without messing up the cheque book.)
