    Default JAYBEE (Jack)

G'Day from south west France. I'm a retired English/Scottish ex serviceman,Firefighter, Policeman/Detective now living out my retirement in the Cognac region.
My problem after renovating 3 houses in the Alps, Centre of France and my present home, is quite simply CLAMPS.
My current double, hardwood entrance gates are 5 foot wide and are suffering from glue fatique. I've tried to buy a set of wood clamps without success and realise I'll have to make my own. I'd cherish any ideas this forum could offer. Thanks to you all in advance

G'day Jack and welcome to the shed!!

Ex evrything! Interesting life you've lead.

Do you actually need clamps. or could you get away with a set of tie down straps as used by truckies??

Thanks Monruben. Just one post and I've already had good advice from Artme. I'm looking forward to contributing when I learn to handle the site

    Welcome to the forum.

If you can provide piccs of doors before and after that would be good.
