Gday from Beaumont Hills, Sydney
Gday all,
I'm Phil, 33 yo. Woodworking has been a dormant interest for many years, it's finally time to get it going.
I'm fairly much starting from scratch in both experience and tooling. Working toward Victorian style furniture building, including carvings. SWMBO might finally get her new bed.
Love to hear from anyone in North West Sydney.
Regards,
Phil

Hi and welcome Phil, nothing like starting with things for your sweet heart, it also makes obtaining funds for tools etc much easier. Nice move. I sure you will enjoy the forum.

G'day Phil and welcome to the shed.
I hope you have your own shed. SWMBO usually object to tools and sawdust in the loungeroom.

Shed
Thanks all,
Cristos - I won't, don't worry.
Artme - Double garage. Not ideal, but it'll do for now. It's not been long since we moved, so this weekend was spent looking for the garage floor again, had some success. I'm starting out on an old MDF desk as a bench. It's solid enough... let's see how long it takes to break it.
Claw Hama - Too right. And I'm enjoying the forum already. It's very active compared to some I've been on. Nice.
