    Default Painting a Shower

I have a need to build a shower in a shed that would probably only get used less than 12 times a year. I will be getting a plumber to install the septic tank (it is on a farm) but don't want to spend $1,000 on tiles or the fake tile stuff.
I will use a plastic base but need to put something over the villaboard - paint is my thought but local shop says that it won't handle the soaps - any thhoughts or experiences??

How about running a shower curtain round the whole perimeter? Couldn't get much cheaper than that

Give it a coat of fibreglass resin. Use F/G mat in the corners for some strenght.
Buy the resin/mat from a boat repair/sales shop, dont buy it from a hardware store they'll rip you blind.

Or you could paint it with a fibreglass reinforced waterproof membrane.
