Hello Guys

Wondering whether I can get some quick advice here.

We recently got a new roof on, and as always there was some rain on the second day (night and day) of install and it appears that although they covered some of the roof they did not do it sufficiently and it appears that water has gone into the wall cavities. It is only in a couple of rooms, but for those rooms the majority of the external walls appear damaged.

I have the guy coming out today - not happy but that is to be expected.

Question is, will sanding this back, sealing and painting once dry be ok - or does it look like the sheets need to be replaced. They are all chamfer boards.

He suggested if he agrees that he is responsible he will take photos and report it to his insurance company.

I just do not want a dodgy fix if it needs replacing.

Thanks in advance team.
