Default The body - A bit like the forum really

All the organs of the body were having a meeting,
trying to decide who was the one in charge.

'I should be in charge,' said the brain,
'Because I run all the body's systems, so without me nothing would happen.'

'I should be in charge,' said the blood ,
'because I circulate oxygen all over so without me you'd all waste away.'

'I should be in charge,' said the stomach ,
'because I process food and give all of you energy.'

'I should be in charge,' said the legs,
'because I carry the body wherever it needs to go.'

'I should be in charge,' said the eyes,
'Because I allow the body to see where it goes.'

'I should be in charge,' said the rectum,
'Because I'm responsible for waste removal.'

All the other body parts laughed at the rectum
and insulted him, so in a huff, he shut down tight.
    Within a few days,
the brain had a terrible headache,
    the stomach was bloated,
    the legs got wobbly,
    the eyes got watery,
    and the blood was toxic.
They all decided that the rectum should be the boss..
    The Moral of the story?
The ass hole is usually the one in charge!
    regards

    David

Proof of its truth is that it has been around for 2500 years, the original version being attributed to Menenius Agrippa who used it in 493 BC to convince patricians and plebeians to cooperate. All Italian schoolkids used to know that.
Your reference to the forum seems rather uncalled for, though.

Many years ago, at a family gathering, I described a former boss who was not a great manager. I concluded my yarn, "I learned he died of colon cancer. Was I surprised to learn that!" My Mum was the only one who laughed, which indicated:
    (a) She was the only one actually listening, or
    (b) She was the only one who knew the punch line, or
    (c) She was the only one comfortable enough with herself to admit she knew the punch line.

Which, of course, is "I always thought he was a perfect asshole."

    Cheers,
    Joe

This reminds me of the "Monkey Tree Management Model".
The boss is at the top looking down on all of the smiling faces,
whilst the workers are down below loking up and seeing all of the ar@#oles.
