Hi All,

I live in an old weatherboard build sometime in the 1880's. We are in the process of renovating the verandah and there is a lot more to do.

My question(s) is basically about the best way to begin all this. Should I take the timber and iron off and scratch off the surface and recompress the gravel/sand base and resurface and construct with new timbers and iron? Or should the entire lot be stripped off base and all and rebuilt?
