Moose antler carver from Russia
Dear everyone,
It's great to become a member of this Forum!
My major field is moose antler carving but I also do woodcarving making wood sculptures as a many-dimentional addition to my carvings.
So, I would like to welcome you to my web-site, my studio is in Russia.

It'd be a pleasure to discuss our activities here!

G'day Dmitry and welcome to the froums.
Your carvings are spectacular in both subject and skill!!
What is it with Russians and carving? Is it the long cold winters? We have other fine Russian artisans who inhabit these forums and their carving work is also beautiful.
I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for your comments!!! and sorry for a late response - have been away on business.
Well, I don't think my work is anyhow substantially influenced by Russian cold winters - perhaps there is something in the compositions that reflects our Nature but that's all I guess.
I'm looking forward to taking part in some discussions here

Welcome Dmitry, fantastic work, love the moose antler carvings. How long does it take you to carve one of these and how much do you charge for them? (if this is not a rude question)
Again welcome
