    Actually the only one to do that was Sir Joh himself. He was able to avoid completely the parliamentary Superrannuation, probably could have done with it in the end too....

    Close but not quite right. A MP can only resign by handing in his resignation to the Speaker of the house/ President of the Senate whilst parliament is sitting. So far he has only indicated his intention.

    This means that when he does actually resign his annual, for life, pension will increase from $66K (today) to $79K. :mad:

    Talk about a final rort. :mad:

    This is not political but a clarification and reflection on public behaviour.

    does anybody remember the move with John Belushi called Animal House ? about some american fraternity at some mythical university ?

    Zed I was in HMV in the city (Sydney) and they had "The Animal House" on special for $13. That was one hell of a funny movie.
