cutting glass
ok so not exactly leadlight but still glass none the less i am currently attempting to make a few aquariums just for personal use and have been fine using one of those $20 oil filled cutters you can get from bunnings i think it was a trojan and while that is fine with the 3-6mm glass i am unable to cut anything bigger so does anyone know what type of cutter i should buy and can you get one that will cut everything from 3-10 or even 12mm glass..
thank you
neil

I've only ever cut light weight glass (up to 5mm) but I assumed the concept is the same for thicker stuff.
Guess you just have to push it harder to get the break to start running. Or have you tried that and ended in failure? So many ideas........so little skill........

Try cutting along the line on both sides of the glass.
Break in the normal manner.Geoff
