    ...and...???

...and, I found this whilst looking for something else. Thought it might interest some and wasn't quite sure where to put it. Just a spur of the moment thing.

Makes sense in many respects, especially logistics. That which we call concrete can occur naturally when pebbles are encased in a slurry of glacial runoff of the right chemistry. Virtually indistinguishable (sorry for the tongue twister) from man-made concrete. (My geology text is currently unavailable).

On occasion, a team of college students are recruited to replicate construction of Stonehenge or Easter Island, for example. With a small workforce, and limited time to complete, the results are inconclusive.

The notion that extraterrestrial aliens instructed the building escapes me.

BTW, in two of my previous lives, I dealt with a lot of concrete. Much of this strikes a familiar chord.

Thanks for the brain exercise. Your moments have an abundance of spurs.

    Cheers,
    Joe

Spent many years in the fibre cement industry in the R&D area and this came up but it never got the interest I thought it should of. Never the less it does throw up some interesting possibilities when you review some of the properties.
