    Default Velcro Hook & loop

Has any one bought just lately, or something similar, the Triton strap that locks on the trigger switch so the power can be operated from a safety switch on s saw bench or router table.

    BUY!!! Never have.
I've always thought my own stuff out, and have my own safety switches.

Tergar , I might have something similar at work , recieved it when installing a new computer server, it was to keep cables tidy. I'll see if i can dig it up.

Otherwise Dick Smith have releasable cable ties that should do the job:

In a previous life when I owned Tritons I used a plastic ratchet clamp to hold the power on.
    Inexpensive and effective.

    Worked well
    Have a good one

Velcro manufacture a product called "One Wrap"..( with all the trade marks ect).

This is a product that is hook on one side and loop on the other.....wrapped arround on its self if grips..quite firmly.

It is commonly used in the sould and lighting industry and is specified with many of the data cabling systems.... great for keeping cables tidy.

It comes in a couple of sizes of preformed straps and several sizes of continuous tape.

there are some cheaper knockoffs... but they are no where near as good.

    How do i know.... I'm......... a dealer.

There are a few places you can get the stuff......including ebay...... but in retail packs, you will be paying for the packaging ( like $2.00 or more of the ticket price will be packaging).......this stuff is a fiddle to package.

back in the dark ages when I used triton , I used to have a big cable tie pulled up just tight enough...and it could be slipped down off the trigger and replaced without removal.

    cheers
Any thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
    Most powertools have sharp teeth.
    People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.
