50 mm backset in a knob entrance lock ?
I have a newly hung glass and Meranti Veneer entrance door ( Corinthian - Windsor door ) the timber frame is about 105 mm wide. My existing polished knob style door locks have a 60mm backset , can i get a striker with a 50mm backset ??? ( so it's centered ) without using a mortise lock. I am just a poor sparky and any help will be greatly appreciated , thanks.
