what is it?
Hello all,
I hope someone can identify this item.
It is 28 cm long, 7 cm fully closed and 9 1/2 cm fully open.
The opposed cutters have a double spur 1/3 along their length.
The timber is , I think, cedar.
It was given to me as a wood working tool but I feel it may be something else.
Thanks, Bill

Looks like a veneer strip cutter. Adjustable so that you can cut thin inlay bands and up to the larger strips for making chess boards.
Peter.
