distance between concrete pads
i need a bit of assistance here , i'm building a cabin in the bush and want to know the distance between concrete pads for the piers to build the bearers on.does anyone have any standards tables?

I would ring my local council or building inspector and explain exactly what I am intending to do. I am sure they will be only to happy to assist if you know what you are doing.(From past experience).

it really depends on the rest of the structure- span of bearers and joists, roof loads etc. You work your floor plan out first and then use tables to work out what size bearers and joists you'll need and therefore the stump spacings.
