    Welcome to the forum.

    I was doing a beginners welding class at Tafe recently and it was mention to bring a hat especially for those that are follicley challenged because of the slag that goes flying when you clean the joint.

    I took a hat no matter and was fine until the last day when a piece of slag when through the overalls that I was wearing. Stop rolling your eyes, it was above the belt.

    Took it in the arm.
