    Default Duck into a bar.

A duck waddled into a pub and ordered a pint of beer and a
ham sandwich. The barman looked at him and said, "Hang on,
    you are a duck".
The duck replied, "I see your eyes are working:
The barman then said, "And you can talk" to which the duck
responded, "I notice your ears are working too".
The barman asked, "We don't get many talking ducks around
here" and the duck replied, "I am a plasterer and working on
the building site across the road".
The duck then pulled out a newspaper from under his feathers
and began reading it whilst eating his sandwich and drinking his beer.

This same routine occurred every day for a fortnight when the
circus arrived in town. The barman approached the ringmaster
and told him about the amazing duck he has recently met. The
ringmaster gave the barman his business card as he was interested.

The next day the duck came into the bar with his usual order when
the barman said, "I have an offer you might consider, it pays good
money and you travel from town to town with a circus".
The duck enquired, "You mean a circus with animals who live in
cages, and performers who live in caravans and they perform under
    a large tent".
The barman replied, "Yes, that's right, are you interested?"

The duck replied, "Why the heck would they need a plasterer?"

nah, the question is how the hell does he set joints and install cornice well enough to be in the trade. I just can't believe a duck could be a plasterer....

He asked the barman to simply "put it on my bill".
