Painting Pine
This may seem a dumb question but I rarely paint, and this is a carry case that's going to get bashed around.
The carry case is made of 19mm pine with a little fibreglass bog, my question is, can I just paint it with aerosol enamel without primer - obviously I will use more paint because the enamel will soak in, but will there be any other consequences?
I live in a country town, and buying 2 or 3 extra cans of spray paint will be cheaper than buying primer.
Thanks
Paul

You can buy a spray can of primer to use first, it's a grey colour and seals the timber well.
Peter.
