Greetings
Hello all, Ive been a bit of a Lurker around here for a couple of weeks so i thought is was time sign up and make it official. Seeing that im such a forum junke, i cant believe that ive never found this place before. Im a member of a 4wd forum, a photography forum, a fishing forum and a motorcycle forum. I also have intrests in boating. Projects planned in the coming couple of years include rebuilding a pergola with outdoor kitchen, incorperating a wood fired brick oven and a carport. I have "some" experience as a woodturner having done a course with the old Skillshare organisation where i was also involved in the restoration of a 1930's pearl lugger from Broom. Im in the process of sourcing some machinery for my shed and am loving what im seeing on these pages. I currently work as an estimator for an aluminium window company, however i did work in a joinery shop making kdhw and cedar windows for about 8 years. I look forward to seeing more of your amazing work and when i get a chance ill post up some of mine, even wip's when they get going.
see you in the soup

Hi, welcome to the forum.
"The training of the eyes to know when an edge is perfectly straight or a surface is flat, free from winding, and straight, is a very important part of a lad's training."

Welcome Jack, sounds like you have been busy with all those forums but luckily you have now found the best one. Look forward to pics you might show here.
