You can do your bit and get paid!

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

There's a single mother who lives a few doors down from me and she doesn't drive. Every week, for at least the eight years we've lived here, she walks up to the supermarket, wheels her shopping home in a trolley and then dumps the trolley on the nature strip.
Everyone in the neighbourhood has informed the supermarket, the police and the council and still she dumps a trolley every week - and nearly every week, the front castors go missing!.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

you've got to admire the stamina. It takes me all my time to steer one to the car never mind take it home. It should be an Olympic event, synchronised trolley pushing.
Cheers,
Jim

That's why I like the Aldi idea. Trolleys cost you $2, which you get back when you put them back in the trolley rack. Just enough to make people return the trolleys, and you never see trolleys all over the car park at Aldi, let alone left around the streets... Their trolleys even push straight, because they aren't subjected to being pushed all around the neighbourhood.

Never give up.

The shopping centre near our appartment in Sydney which uses the security system you see in other types of shops. Once the trolley goes through the security point a lock clamps the wheel down and there ain't no moving it once that happens
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
