Scaled n feathers
After OTGA last Wednesday headed to Lapstone to see my Uncle a keen native wildlife lover.
While sitting outside I heard the birds going off more than usual so went to investigate with the idea of taking some photo's. 5ft from the cage door and I came to a sudden stop.
Not not afraid just cautious. Whn Sue and uncle came down I had already back away Uncle spooked the snake off and Sue entered the cage to take the photo's.

Nice shiny Joe Blake there Wheelin. I see lots of beaut pen blanks!!
Oops! Sorry, protected species.
Love the finches. Gouldians are amongst my favourite birds. Apparently their habitat in the wild is under threat.
