Rough Country Road
I was driving my father and grandfather down a rough country road.
My inexperience in handling Grandpa's four-wheel-drive vehicle made for
a particularly bouncy ride.
Embarrassed, I offered a lame excuse, "The sun shadows through the
trees make it hard for me to see all the potholes."
"Don't worry," Grandpa said. "You're gettin' most of 'em."Androgens Order
Forgive your enemies, but never, ever forget their names.
The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naïve forgive and forget; the wise forgive but never forget.

You could always get the ones you missed on the way back.

Bit like the old cartoon.
Road work site.
Shocked workman.
Parked semi-trailer with open driver's side door
Semi driver walks back towards workman with a sheepish grin, points to only safety cone still standing and says "missed one"

Saw this done for real in Qld. One particular truck driver took great delight each morning in running over all the plastic poles, until the workmen filled a set with concrete ...
