Replacing Timber Beam with RHS
Replacing timber beam with RHS.
Hi all,
Our old cottage has a timber beam measuring 140mm x 65mm and spanning 4700mm from one external wall to the other;

I want to replace this beam with a steel RHS so that it doesn't sit as low across the room. What is the correct size?
