    Default Instructions

Thought I'd put this n the joke section because it's funny,
Instruction on knife sharpener I just bought say
"Up the gray V slot of the sharpener, hold the rhombus protuberant part by hand, put sharpener vertical to the table top that make the nonskid soft rubber contact the table top well"
Perhaps some one could elucidate the meaning of Rhombus protuberant?

    Default Q.e.d.

I think if you read all the features from the site it becomes trivially obvious...

Handing part adopts rhombus salient point nonskid designs that cause safe handholding with small energizing.

Sounds as though it was written by a dislexic Eskimo (say that quickly and sober)
    Apologies to all Eskimos.

    You are very close Tim.

The Collins English Dictionary has Protuberant as, " A bulging swelling out tumour or knob".

When you add Rhombus it all becomes perfectly clear, "A pallelogram whose sides are all equal but whose angles are not at 90 Deg, or a dimond shape".

Sounds just like a monkeys bum to me.

You are correct Mick, just giving the Collins definition. Your probably right about the second bit too.
