G'day from Brissy
G'day!
I'm from sunny (and hot) Brisbane and have been interested in woodworking as a hobby for the last 10 years or so.
Unfortunately I find real life commitments and a busy job get in the way, but I'm making time to do more woodworking, because once I'm doing it, it is a lot of funIt is great picking up a piece of old wood and creating something new from it, I love working with recycled wood where possible.
Recently I've been dabbling with making bowls with a router, a technique outlined in Woodsmith Magazine, but just like pottering around too
This looks like a great forum! Glad I found it!
Cheers!

Hi, Welcome to the forum.
"The training of the eyes to know when an edge is perfectly straight or a surface is flat, free from winding, and straight, is a very important part of a lad's training."
