putty on old windows
I have a number of windows and the external bevelled finished edge of putty is falling away. I am going to replace the putty and would like to know if there is a way to finish the bevelled edge so it is nice and smooth? Would a knife dipped in Linseed oil do the job? Anything else I should know about replacing the putty? thanks Spin
