Replacement Window
My side garage window has wood rot throughout and needs a total replacement. I was thinking of a slide opening aluminium window, but after 2 quotes of $984 & $1200, I think I will have a go and do it myself out of timber. Never having done one before and being a total novice, I will need plenty of advice. The brickwork opening is approx. 950mm wide x 1000mm height measured from the underside of the lintel. I may be able to buy a slightly smaller window and pack it. It doesn't need to open and can be fixed.Any help and advice on how to go about fitting it would be greatly appreciated.Ronny
