    Default Hello from Canada

Hi, my name is Mike from Ontario, Canada. Found this forum a few days ago and I just wanted to introduce myself. Been a weekend woodworker for years and recently started power carving with burls. I just can't get enough. Here's a few recent pieces.

    Welcome Mike! Stunning work.
    .
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

    Regards, Woodwould.

Aspen, White Ash and Maple. The timber is all from Ontario.
Still developing my burl carving skills. Thanks for the feedback.
    Glad to be on board.

What part of McGintyville do you hail from Mike? Are you on the CWW&HI forum as well?

Only been up there once a few years back for Halloween at whatever the college is. Can't remember really. I programmed/operated the light show for the dance they had. Didn't get much of a chance to look around but when I asked a yokel at the gas station near our hotel what there was to see and do there he contemplated his navel for a moment and replied "We got us a mall with a cinema". Ah the tourist board must be so pleased with him.

You ever go on the Canadian Woodworking (and Home Improvement Magazine) forum?
