Hey Ern!
Hope you are healing well. Wrists can take a little time. DAMHIK It may keep you of the bike and from turning for a few weeks.
Take even more care of yourself.Russell (aka Mulgabill)

Gee Ern, don't you have enough fun with dangerous rotating things if they are bolted to the ground?
When I was a little tacker my dad was swiped by the tail of a truck on a narrow mountain road and luckily picked up some time later by a police jeep. For that reason he prohibited me ever driving a bike. I do have a licence but have never driven one. I call it my "licence to kill" Or be killed, more likely. Get well soon.

Ta guys.
Yeah, I'd dropped in on Jeffs event on the Mon; Tues I got hit riding the bike down the Bogong High Plains Rd. KO'd and no memory of it but looking at bike and gear figure I clipped or was clipped by an oncoming vehicle.
3 days in hospital and two ops on the right wrist for multiple fractures. The 'wet carpenter' put in a plate with 6 screws (being semi-conscious I could hear him asking for a #23 screw or somesuch), then the 2nd time round he did some wiring up of bones. Nec for a woodturner he reckoned.
So it'll be 5 weeks in a cast and then the wires come out.
Had great care in the 2 Gippsland hospitals and a New Year's day to remember. Not.
Worst thing was coming off the 2 day morphine high,
And it would be the right handCheers, Ern

I've stacked a few bikes over the years and it's no fun. You mend and forget quickly though. That's life.
I hope you can return to the lathe quickly Ern. All the best..
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

When your feeling better and are down this way next let me know and we can catch up for a coffee or something stronger maybe.I try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it

Ern,
look after yourself. Geez.... what can I say?
(Get off the motor bike. It's like pleasure and pain.)
Great to see you in one piece over the break. And hopefully see you soon.
