Default WOODWORKING QUIZ for 19 Dec 04

    Good Morning Friends,
When you get a set of plans for a piece of furniture to build. As a general rule there will be a cut list and in parentheses will be the BF of lumber in the different pieces.

The quiz is if you were to go with the written BF would you have enough material to build the product?

I would have thought there would be enough BF unless the plans were BS!!

    Good Evening Bitingmidge,
Yes, you would think that the amount on the plans cut list would be enough.

However, what they put on the cutlist is the amount of BF that was used after all the blemishes were removed. So in reality if you only bought the amount listed you would be short. I know this to be a fact as it has happened to me.

    Thank you for your support.

    Respectfully,
