southern star campers
gday all
well i also purchased one of these campers
paid all up 8200
that included delivery to townsville
when we purchased it i was home on leave from afghanistan
told scott that we needed it by no later than the 15th dec (today) as i was psoted to Perth and we needed it to drive over
Return from tour and tried to contact him for an update etc etc
like every one else no reply
we paid through Pay Pal so we have lodged a claim for the return of our $$$$ suprise suprise he made contact
now i am fairly easy going and like to give a battler a chance
but he may get a suprise if this trailer is not on my door step by the end of this week
i am glad i went to a war zone did my job so pr*cks like him have the freedom to rip people off
so in a nut shell stay away from these guysLast edited by Big Shed; 15th December 2009 at 12:38 PM. Reason: Language

Hey there. Thanks for that info...I agree, this Scott should be exposed. My husband has flown to Melbourne this morning to make certain our camper trailer has everything its supposed to and not back to front.. so to speak!!! If not, we will demand it be as it should before it leaves the yard, or our money back... dont need this crap just before xmas??
So, two big boofy coal miners in Melbourne confronting Scott may not be very pretty... looking forward to the out come and will keep u posted..Cheers

Hubby fronted scott today along with our friend that visited yesterday. Apparrently it was robbed as the police were there at the same time, so at least that bit is true - surprise, surprise.
Anyway our camper trailer is still there and being completed accordingly.
Hubby back there tomorrow for final inspection and hopefully see it get loaded onto a truck. If it wasnt for our friend going there yesterday we would still be trying to get scott on the phone!!!!!
Having hubby there as well, scott hasnt got any other options and no excuses unless there is suddenly a FIRE overnite?? God help me
In saying that it aint over yet and my hubby has till thursday morning or longer if required.
I will forward your details onto him to mention to scott, the mouth would no doubt drop dramatically i would assume...
My only advice otherwise is front him unexpectedly and u may too get results..We didnt need this expense for the cost to go down there but hopefully it will be worthwhile. B in touch ...cheers

Have also been on to Scott today to try and finalise our missing items
To my knowledge and he did tell me a lot of stuff that was stolen, I do believe that no Canopies were stolen... There should be still 5 sitting in the shed.. I would get back on to him and ask which police station it was, then ring the police station and see if he reported any canopies stolen.. I think that you will find that this is another lie..
The tents are a little to Heavy to steal with no-one noticing I think..(unless you have the keys for the gate)
He was broken into but for all the tools and computers to get stolen is ALL to CONVENIENT for my liking. I know every reason he uses and will NOT take anymore ######## from him..
Will Report Him to TAX OFFICE, CURRENT AFFAIR, FAIR TRADING.
Does anyone have an idea on his business partners last nameor phone as the number that I had is now disconnected.... (ROB ???)

TO ALL....
Hubby back into the workshop this morning and nothing has been done since yesterday, this is just all too much!!!
Ive just changed his flight for tomorrow morning till lunchtime, more money, if its not ready he said he will just take it out of the yard.. better to have something rather than nothing if this bastard goes belly up. If thats the case im happy to write a letter to ACA...
Anyway he will call back in this arvo to see if any progress has been made, so once again stay tuned.
