Now, I've got this pictured in my head, but I'll try to explain it - that'll really confuse 'em.

SWMBO is worried about a joint in the end of a verandah rafter - this joint will fit into the rear of an existing 90 deg joint, i.e. into the sharp side of the 90 deg, and will fit equally in degrees to both sides. It will also be coming in at 15 deg from the roof slope. Since it goes into the back of a 100mm x 100mm hardwood post, SWMBO is totally confused about how it will actually be fitted.

I say no more, but keep saying, 'Wait 'til we get to it'.

Can anyone explain it so she can understand how it will fit? I'm going ga-ga.
