g'day!
g'day all,
My name is Lewis Allen. Currently studying Fine Art Sculpture at RMIT uni in melbourne. Hugely interested in woodwork(handtools!!!), my sculptures are mostly woodwork with other elements incorporated.
Have perused this site for some time now and am finally contributing.
I have appreciated all your help so far.
cheers.

G'day Lewis. Welcome aboard (a 'board'?). No strangers here. Just friends you haven't met.
Cheers

G'day all, I've been following some of the threads for a coupla months now and it's interesting stuff.I'm a retired (almost) builder.I'm going to build one more house for me and my wife on my block which is (almost again) subdivided.By the end of next year I should be able to get in my new shed, forget the world for a while, and start making things I wanna make.
I can put together a house with my eyes closed but at 62 it's getting hard. I want to make some unique style furniture but besides making basic timber shelves I've only made up knock down melamine box type units. Anyway, my names Clive Harrison, happy to be here and happy to have 5 grown kids nearby,- My psuedo name is Lenco and anybody into slightly different music might guess what that stands for.
All the best to all.

G'day Lenco.
Would have thought that building is normally done with ones eyes open.

have a squizzy, when you're busy.
Ah, Christos, you obviously have advanced powers of observation and you are right,- my eyes aren't shut tightly,- more like sort of squintty and I might take a quick peek now and again.
. I imagine that I'm not the only one on the forum who'se almost retired and are getting close to being able to do stuff for themselves. anyway, it's all good and I'm getting there
. Cheers , lenco.

.Yeah, this forum is a cool site and even tho I haven't made anything yet along these lines my time will soon come and in the meantime I'm getting a few ideas and maybe I can chuck in a bit of building advice.Cheers, lenco.
