Hi Folks
I guess I would call myself a home handyman. I am an aircraft engineer by trade but have spent that last 40 years or so renovating houses and furniture as a bit of a hobby. Moved to Townsville 12 years ago and have bought, redecorated/repaired 4 houses and am on to the 5th (and last). I love Queenslanders and have enjoyed turning some fibro clad monstrosities back into a semblance of what they should look like.
Current job was a Queenslander converted to a block of flats which is slowly but surely going back to being a 6 bedroom home.

G'day fnqtech and welcome to the workshop!!
Your experience would be most welcome in the renovate forums.
That is some achievement you have behind you. Renovation/restoration is much harder than building a new place.
