Hi All

I just bought an old federation place (double brick) thats going to need quite a bit of renovation starting with the (scary!!) bathroom.

Currently (dont ask me why) the bathroom floor doesnt have a waste . How would i install one- i assume it means somehow cutting a hole through the concrete floor and plumbing it into the sewer. How would i cut such a hole or who would i call in to do that job? a plumber??

Im thinking of doing all the tiling myself - as the toilet /bath and washbasin/vanity are to be replaced , is the correct order in terms of a bathroom reno to:

1. Pull out these toilet /bath and wasbasin/vanity

2. pull up old tiles both floor and wall

3. Waterproof with that fibreglass stuff

4. Tile floors and walls

5. Install new toilet /bath and washbasin/vanity (with help of plumber)

Is this the right sequence ?? sorry for the dumb questions but i havent done this before

Thanks for any advice in advance

Cheers

Martin
