Hi guys. We have a house with those timber columns which were common in the 70's. As you can see in the photo, two of them (theres 5 in total) are rotted at the base. I need to fix this. I've done a search to see if anyone still makes these without success. I've thought of waiting till they turn up at demolition places, but it could be a long wait as I believe there were quite a few styles at the time. Any thoughts on where I might buy these, or how I might fix the ones that are there would be welcome.

I'm interested in ideas for both temporary and permanent fixes.
