Help please ! Any advice for how to remove adhesive from jarrah floorboards? I have a 1930s weatherboard cottage and the previous owners (bless them!) thought it a good idea to lay furry lino over the jarrah boards. I think it's been down for at least 10 years and I have no idea what adhesive they used other than it's yellow in colour. Over time it's seeped into the boards and is proving reluctant to detach. I have tried a hot air gun and scraper with limited success. Any advice greatly appreciated !
