Reblocking advice
Hi guys,
Hoping someone can help. We're looking to do a renovation to our place that includes going forward on the block and putting in a double garage and redoing the external staircase (we're on a decent slope, about 6m from ground to lounge).
It's a bit hard to explain but the crux of it is that we need to replace the current wall/stumps (currently treated pine poles) with better support as we are also planning on putting another storey on top of the existing house.
How much do you think it would cost to put temporary support under the house (it's about 3m from ground to the sub-floor of the existing house) which would give us the ability to tear out the existing stumps and replace them as part of the new wall?
Cheers,
Luke
