How to remove freestanding oven and rangehood?
Hi. I have no electrical experience or gas. I have some carpentry background and a few other things.
I am bidding on an oven (freestanding Smeg) and rangehood (not the in cupboard type). If I win the bid, I will have to remove them myself.
I need some really good advise on how to do this as I am driving an hour and a half there and can't really ask my local plumber mate to come with me.
I would feel better about doing this myself as long as I feel I understand the task enough to feel safe, not damage anything.
I have sent message to owner asking....
Are they able to turn off gas electricity?
Are the oven and rangehood hardwired?
Waiting for their reply.
Any advise greatly appreciated (hope to see my plumber friend about town too)
Cheers, Su.
