Howdy Everyone!
Howdy everyone, im a new member here this is my first post but Ive been lurker for a little while. I'm 23 years old and work in the IT industry.
I've always been pretty crafty as an owner/builder but since the new born is on the way i thought i would build a cot and take up a new hobby as a wood worker
Ive setup a bit of a make shift workshop in my garage, i really need to get around to organising it properly (so i can get the car in) I have attached a few pic's of my garage and some of the power tools i got in there. please excuse the mess.
Looking forward to learning from you all.
Thanks

Mess..That ain't a mess
Welcome to the WW forum Snaps ,enjoy your time here and ask your questions if you have a need to.
A mess thats probably a lot more organised than most. W'workers are renowned for having things from one end of a workshop to another and not necessarily tidy.
Hope the cot build goes well for you.
CheersJohnno
Everyone has a photographic memory, some just don't have film.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I already feel at home!
I just picked up quite a bit of merbau/kwila for the main frame of the cot. I would of rather got some nice Aussie hardwood but its got a great red hue and will be perfect for the legs on the sleigh cot.
I might start up a new post about the cot
Cheers
