    Default Introducing myself

Gday, I have been using this forum since the start of the year but I have not yet introduced myself.
My name is Andy, I am originally from Melbourne, however I joined the army a couple of years ago and was posted to Sydney.

I had never done any sort of woodworking, handyman work as a hobby/job. However when I moved from Melbourne as a 19 year old and then having my own house to live in/maintain I quickly found the passion for making things. I think it started with putting furniture together that I had bought when I was furnishing my house. This quickly turned into me going to the library and hiring any book I could find on woodworking/handyman activities.
I have been keenly interested for the past year and although it can be very frustrating at times, I find it very relaxing and an excellent hobby that I love.

Thanks for answering my questions that I have put forward over the past months, it really has helped me with my progression.

    Kindest regards,
    Andy.

    Welcome Andy.
It is great that you have come with no vices, especially those sleepy ones - heh heh!
This is a great forum with many knowledgeable woodies.
Like me, you will learn heaps, and of course we look forward to you sharing your woodworking adventures.
There are many woodworking forums but this one is the best.
    Enjoy
