Achtung Locksmiths! (und Lock-Tinkerers...)
A cupla' trivial questions for yuz!
Firsty - Is there a replacement part that goes into a 100 or 200-series Lockwood Nightlatch (like the specimen in the photo below), that enables the Tongue to "Hold Back" off the key in one direction of turning, in addition to off the Knob?

I've got this bugger of a door at the top of some steps with no landing, and a vertical awning right beside the steps on the lock-side of the door. The resulting geometrical combination of reaching up above your head, whilst being cramped to one side, makes it very hard to turn the Mortice-Lock's handle with one hand, at the same time as you turn the Nightlatch's key with the other . A Nightlatch that could "hold back" in one direction off the key would be just the thing...
Funny thing is - if you have a look at the Cam turned by the Barrel (see the photo below - the said Cam is on the detached silver plate), it has two different shaped lever-ends, even though it doesn't "hold back" in either direction. The Cam turned by the Knob (the one on the main body), also has two different shaped ends - but one has been truncated sufficiently to enable "hold back"...

Secondly - Do they make spare parts for the Lane 1000-series Mortice Locks (such as in this last photo), or do you just "toss" them? The Handle-turned Cam has broken in one of them, and the Tongue is missing from the other (and I can't even "Frankenstein" the two of them into one "worker"...)

Thanking you awfully!
