Removing Vinyl Tile Adhesive
Hi all,
I am about to lift up some vinyl tiles in my kitchen and laundry. I did a quick test to see how easy they came up, and the result was that they came up quite easy. The problem is that what is left behind is the adhesive used to put them down which looks as if it never dried. It is very sticky. I scrapped most of it off but it still leaves it quite sticky. I plan to tile over the area once i put in a new kitchen int he next few weeks.
In the photos below the area on the left(of the first pic) and the top(of the second pic) has not been scrapped after lifting the tile
Any help on the best method to clean the residue off would be appreciated.
Cheers
