Clear epoxy for flooring filler ?
I'm just about to start laying 250m2 of of Karri feature grade overlay flooring. A friend has told me of a floor he saw in a display home that had high feature but the feature was filled with clear resin. The floor was dead smooth but you could see all the features - it sounded really nice. I am wondering if anyone has any advice. My thoughts are to just use a clear epoxy resin. But a couple of things I am concerned about are
- Adhesion to the epoxy of polyerathene coating
- What epoxy system to use
- If I'm completely out of my tree.
Thanks,
David
