help needed ('puter)
I was looking at a couple utube vids in a field that interests me but would like to d/l them to my laptop so I can view them while in the shed while trying things out rather than try to remember then come back to the site and watch again. anything available? freeware?

If you're running Firefox, there are a few add-ons/extensions/plugins which add a "Save video as .wmv/flv" when you have a page with a video on it.

Whilst looking through the August PC User Magazine they had an article on a basic down load manager that you can use to download YouTube video's and allow's you to choose the video quallity, XX being the desired code.
This is the site http://www.sephiroth.it/weblog/archi...starring_f.php
