Do I need to screed the ensuite floor?
I have 19mm strip timber floor with a ceramic tile overlay on the floor in the ensuite. I will be installing a shower tray with screen therefore enclosed.
After the waterproofing membrane, do I need to screed the floor for fall to the general area waste drain before tiling?
Would it be acceptable to simply reposition the drain at the lowest point of the floor? The place is old and the joists have some minor deflections in different areas. The ensuite area is 2650x2690mm in size.
Cheers,
