Hornets + Nose = Gonzo

I am in the throes of painting the house at the moment and was fixing up some quad on one of the corners and was up the ladder and needed to catch my balance and I grabbed the fascia around the corner with my hand. Got the fascia OK and caught my balance but also grabbed a bloody BIG hornets nest.
Before I knew it I had a heap of these missiles coming at me - got off the ladder real quick but not before a couple got me right on the schnoz 'betwixed the eyes.' Talk about instant pain !!!! :mad: :mad:
A mate told me about similar incident he had and rubbed vinegar on the bites so I did the same - pain went virtually instantly but now I smell like a salad and look like bloody Gonzo with a BIG hump on me schnoz.
Lucky it was me schnoz and not my eyes though.
Missus can't stop laughing as did me neighbours.

Bad luck Pete, ah well, at least you nose what to do next time...

You might get a job commentating cricket (another pigeon fancier maybe?? )
